FUJIFILM XApp is an app. provided by Fujifilm Corporation. Once users pair a Fujifilm digital camera with their smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth®, they can transfer captured images and movies to their smartphone or tablet, control the camera remotely, backup and restore camera settings, synchronize date, time, and location, and update firmware.
The Wi-Fi function of smartphones or tablets is also used for transferring captured images and videos, and updating firmware.
In addition, by signing in to Fujifilm's network service, daily shooting activities using the camera can be automatically summarized in a diary format.
This service is useful for reviewing their photographic activities and improving their photographic skills.

[Note]
The FUJIFILM XApp uses the GPS function of the smartphone/tablet continuously in the background, which may consume a large amount of battery power in your smartphone/tablet.
To reduce battery consumption, please go to "Settings" of FUJIFILM XApp and set the "Location synchronization interval" to a longer interval.

XT5 Image Transfer Speeds

It became much slower since the new app is used. Now it takes 2 minutes to send a single picture to my phone while it only took like 10 seconds before.

waiting for it over 10 yrs

i have been waiting for this app since i own my x pro 1. I finally can transfer my pics from my camera smoothly and no jams occur. for the previous version of the app which hardly to connect between my iphone and x pro 1. today i already own my x pro 3. i can freely use remote control and transfer pics via the app. i hope fujifilm will make it better and better.

We do not have any plan to implement to support the requested model for now.

Why require 24/7 locations?

It doesn’t make sense, how is transferring images from camera to phone requires location information? It’s BS that entire app is unusable if location is not shared . Won’t use this until this issue resolved

Ver.1.10 improves as follows.
• The application can communicate with the camera via Wi-Fi even if the permission to access "Location" is not set.
• Functions that do not require permissions to access can now be used without setting the permissions to access.
