HID Mobile Access® merges security with convenience by enabling a smartphone or other mobile device to securely open a door or gate.
If you would like to start using HID Mobile Access® in your organization please visit http://www.hidglobal.com/services/mobile-access to learn more about the service and compatible readers. The App will only be useful to you once your organization has been setup with compatible readers and your security administrator can issue Mobile IDs.
To improve the door opening experience, we detect readers when the app is not open. Location Services is used exclusively for this purpose.

We are pleased to announce the release of HID Mobile Access v4.5.0! Enclosed are the newly introduced features and enhancements.

1. Enhanced Policy Enforcement for the Twist & Go and Nearby Reader features. These settings allow Organization administrators within the HID Origo Management Portal to manage the Twist & Go and Padlock options (located under the Nearby Reader section in the HID Mobile Access App).
2. Improved notification functionality. Outside of the app, users now receive notifications related to app permissions.
Note: This feature is controlled from within the app Settings, and is disabled by default.
3. iBeacon entry and exit events have been added. Users can now view new events related to iBeacon entry and exit on the Activity Log screen.
4. Device model details are now displayed on the About screen and included in the Support email.
5. Work profile information is included in the Support email to provide a better understanding of the app's environment when troubleshooting problems.
6. Transaction time recording is now provided in the activity logs for improved tracking.
7. Provides various additional enhancements and issue resolutions.

Need to turn on GPS if it runs in background

If the apps is running at the background, I can't open the door unless I turn on the GPS. But then, it loses the meaning of low power consumption.

I have heard there is a solution using connectPeriperial:options in stack overflow.

May I know the road map of the update? Thx

Update Dec 9: if the phone is black screen, I can not open the door. Even after I unlock the open, I can not open the door. Only when the apps is on top, then I can open it. It seems like iPhone force Bluetooth to go to sleep. Pls check ASAP. Thx

Missing features

Need ability to provide personalised names for doors, and wallet app. This one very inconsistent
