Unusable vs modern apps
Payment is taken no matter what, and then refunded in 7 days if a taxi cannot be found. You have no sense of how long it will take to find one, so you end up paying, seeing the search take more than 2 minutes, then cancelling and going back to your Uber app.
The UI is not intuitive, there’s no way to set up a profile with payment details, favourite places, and most of all it seems there’s just not enough drivers for even my small demand. Tried 3 times, won’t be using again until significant improvements made.
Not a good deal
You are charged for the ride whether the app gets you a taxi or not. If you cancel because no drivers respond to your order, a cancellation fee is deducted from the refund.
