Good App and could do more

Good apps for more downloadable wash cycles. But it could be even better:

1) if the app can adjust the details such as spin speed etc. (which can be adjusted if chosen from the machine front panel)

2) if the app can start the next program without needing to walk back to the machine and start mobile start again

3) if the app could walk the Machine up via app without reconnection every time.

Inconsistent information on power consumption

This app has been updated many times, and each updated version gave a different presentation on the power consumption data. I’ve been using a LG Styler, which is connected to this app, so that I can see the power consumed for each use. I first used this app in July 2022, which gave an actual numerical figure on the power consumption, which was very useful. Since then, there were a number of updates which changed the numerical numbers into graphical presentation, which is useless in knowing how much power is consumed. Moreover, such graphical presentation is inconsistent after each app updates, sometimes showing that the same programme used on my clothes consumed much less or more power, depending on the app updates released. This arbitrary presentation renders the power consumption information useless and inaccurate.

The app is a lot of room for improvement

I have an LG combined washer and dryer in my home. I think the app is pretty good to connect to my phone with the washer which can be communicated through internet. However, the functions are pretty very primitive and should have been more advanced. Most of the other household equipment that I bought and came with an app can do much more. With the builtin intelligence of the washer, I should have received much more information and setting options using my app. There should be a lot more improvement opportunities in the app development.
