Brightness widget issue

When you have the brightness setting in the widget, it suppose to let you change the brightness right at the widget. However , when you click on it now, it will jump into the app . Can yoi fix it by not jumpimg into the app?

Top Launcher

Very simple yet robust.
I've actually ditched some other launchers and widgets in favor of those app because it's not only an app launcher but also also a calendar widget and website launcher.
The developer is also very helpful and open to feature requests.
