Doesn’t work

Forced to update the app on the first day of Chinese New Year then it no longer works. Not very lucky. A big mess up from MBS. A Chinese message displays saying it takes time for different regions to update in App Store. Why force an update for minor bug fixes at Chinese New Year then cause MAJOR issues by doing so?
