Description

melod is a classic music/rhythm game that lets you play great songs by a wide variety of indie artists—discover new music and chase high scores!

There are two types of instrumentals to play: "Melody" and "Rhythm"! Be warned: "Rhythm" mode adds a fifth "bass pedal" note that drastically increases the level of difficulty. Charts reflect the notes of the song, and your part drops if you miss notes. Explore the inner machinations of the music in the game!

You can play the game on "Chill" or on "Challenge" mode. "Chill" gives an easier, relaxing experience, while "challenge" gives the full experience, pushing your music-gaming skills as far as they can go.

Along with the free experience, you can also purchase a "melodx" subscription, which gives you access to a selection of playable songs that will develop over time. Other songs can be purchased individually.

This game is...... ok

This game is ok, the charting is ok, the fact that it doesn't have ads popping every 5 minutes is incredibly good.

But there are a few things that makes me want to delete this game after 10 minutes of playing.

First of all, it forces you to start from the easiest song, even if you chose the challenge mode. This is good if you're a beginner at rhythm games but it's so hideous for someone who is experienced at rhythm games......

Secondly, the sliding notes is weird. It doesn't tell you it's a sliding note until you played more than ten times, but the notes appeared in multiple beginner songs.

It's hard to read because there is no lines connecting them, it's weird I have to zip across the screen to hit separate notes.

Also in harder difficulties, it sometimes just decided to break your combo for whatever reason.

Lastly, it doesn't allow ghost tapping.

I know, it's a way to stop people from spamming, but it doesn't make sense when there is no notes on the screen!

I've lost my combos way too many times because of this. If this is a pc game then it may be fine but it doesn't work in a mobile game.

Accidentally touched your screen? You lost your combo.

Also the charting for harder difficulties is just spamming and spamming.

It's not fun when you have to spam through half of the song.

These are the things that made this game not very fun to play.

The game is not bad in general, I wish there will be an update so the game can be more fun to play.
