great app, but not as great as the windows version

I see Word getting better with every verison, but as a hybrid windows and mac user, I also see the windows version surpassing the mac version every single time. I really hope one day that both versions will run natively and we can get the full office 365 experience on whatever platform, the way it is intended :)

PLEASE CHANGE THIS

1) There are only 6 usable colors for the highlight function, unlike excel. Each color is kinda ugly, they hurt my eyes (bright yellow, neon green, neon pink, bright red), make it hard to read the text, and when I print it out it looks hella ugly. Please let me customize my colors.

2) The comment function is so so bad. If I leave a comment on a single sentence, it becomes this bright red that is a) hard to look at and b) keeps flickering on and off when I put my cursor on it. I can't comment now because it just hurts my eyes. And my eyes are pretty good, just a lil nearsighted. I dont have eyesight issues.
For example, if I'm editing a 4000 word essay, I like to comment on each of the sentence and explain to myself what it's for (e.g. Thesis, link, etc.), but I can barely edit because the comment box keeps flickering between dark red and light red. I wish that there was no highlight/shade for comments, an underline is enough.
Thank you! I really love word and have been using it for a long time. Word is honestly the best document editing software. (no offense google docs)

word takes up 30GB of working memory

first of all, mac keeps telling me word is using like 20-30GB working memory, even when I only have 1-2 documents open. I can only respond by killing the app and restarting, which happens every other day.

Then word sometimes tells me my file is open but I cannot access it at all, forcing me to quit the app and restart it.

idk what to do. It's probably not a Word problem alone? compatibility problem? helpppp
