Ratings and Reviews
Mouse/touchPad function bug
When I use my mouse for pages, even though i was not touch the mouse, the little dot on the screen keep moving between words and words. When i try to select some of the words, i cannot control the dot. However i guess it is only a bug for pages, the mouse work perfectly in other apps on my iPad Air 2019.
Quite Good, but needs improvement
This app, pages, is very good. Once, when I was doing my social studies reserch paper, I needed to write a report about it. I chose the ‘school report’ templates, and ta-da!! A brand new and good school project appered!! It was awesome. The design was good too. I got high marks and this app doesn’t even need me too pay!! It was good. I hope every app was like this.
But, I think it needs to have more templates. Once, I wanted to make a timetable, but when I searched it in the app, there was no ‘timetable’ templates. So, I can just use Xcel or Microsoft Office. I hope it can make some new templates like timetables. Besides templates, other things were good, too. they allow you to upload photos to your report, too.
The latest version of pages was not as reliable as before
It is used to be the most favourite writing apps on my iPad but the latest version at the time of writing this (29 Oct 2019) fails to do the job. For instance, I need to write essay in Japanese. The phonetics function is broken. Every time I tired to add phonetics to the Japanese words it jumps to the first page of the document. In addition, i can’t type the comments in the comment box. The comment window was simply closed at the time I tried to type something in it.
Members in Apple support teams of this apps. Please take a look again and see what’s going on. If the problems / bugs were not fixed, it would be better not to update.
