Plaud Note device

The app should allow recording and transcription without the PLAUD Note hardware.

Also live transcription (like Otter) would also be useful

However, the mini built-in microphone in PLAUD NOTE ensures clear audio quality, and its battery life of up to 60 days guarantees that your recordings will not be interrupted. Additionally, PLAUD NOTE's ability to record both sides of a phone conversation in call mode is a unique benefit of our hardware. Regarding your suggestion for live transcription, we are excited to inform you that this feature is currently under active development, and we look forward to providing you with updates soon. Hand free recording

It would be good if it can record through hand free device and Zoom/Teams call

Yes, please let the Zoom and Teams call's speaker is on, then switch to the Note recording mode, then it will record the meeting and call via PLAUD NOTE.

Disappointed

Call recording is unclear and too low. Most of time can not even hear clearly
