I love the paper version of Popular Science and decided to unsubscribe from the paper version and switch to the iPad version, subscribed to it for one year. And now I'm still struggling to download the September 2012 issue several hours later I confirmed my payment. Whenever I sleep my iPad the app pauses the download and if I leave my iPad in sleep mode for too long it simply cancels the download and I have to start over again with my display on the entire time which heats up the chips. Please fix this glitch... Otherwise I have nothing else to say I love popular science : )

Both environmentally and economically friendly

Layout and navigation is great. Not just your straight clone of the print version. Really prefer it to the print copy. Next is to see how it will take advantage of the new retina display.
