Connection Lost
I have switched to the WireGuard (beta) protocol since it was introduced, and the connection was proven unstable. Connection lost problem happened at least once per day on average and I had to turn VPN off and on to reset. In fact, connection lost problem never happened before WireGuard was employed.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review and giving us a 4-star rating. Please note that WireGuard is a newly implemented protocol. There are still improvements (not all of it dependent on us) that need to be made before WireGuard can reach the same level of compatibility as legacy protocols like OpenVPN and IKEv2. Could you report the unstable connection issues with WireGuard via the Report Bug feature in the app, so our team can further look into this? In the meantime, please try switching to other protocols to see if that works better. If we're able to help, we hope you'll up your rating to 5 stars.
My go to VPN
Easy to use. Quick to connect. Swiss-based, therefore under some of the most stringent privacy laws in the world. Very clear on threat assessment and transparent about everything they do. World-class engineering team. Secure core is a fantastic and unique feature for added peace of mind. On the downside, lacks native OpenVPN protocol, which restricts connectivity on some networks. There is a workaround by installing ProtonVPN credentials and select servers in the separate OpenVPN app. Hope to see this minor quibble addressed soon.

This VPN is easy to use
This VPN is easy to use and connect although sometimes it will be disconnected within short moment. I believe that it would be fixed soon. It performs well as a VPN.
