Best Scanner App by far

So much better than a competitor app that i have been using for sometime, especially in the area of the pricing model and file export options. Love this and it’s my everyday app already.

One suggestion is to add better post-scanning editing, for erasing background by enhancing contrast/ levels. My main usage is to quickly scan graphite hand sketches and send to my clients, and you know the strokes from the behind pages would appear on the scanning page and need to be eliminated, best whitened. In this area the competitor does a better job.

All documents were lost after update

All of my scanned doc were lost after updated to the latest version !!!!!
I have used this app for years, no such problem happened. Is this a trick or something that forced us to pay for the cloud service ?!

Hi, we're very sorry for this bug. Fortunately, no data has been deleted, all documents were just hidden. It took us the weekend, but we were able to develop a newer version that restores all your documents. Please update your Genius Scan app to the v7.0.12 version. This never had anything to do with money, as all our customers were impacted. Again, we're very sorry for this inconvenience.

Nifty!

A quick, no-nonsense scanning app. I really like its flexibility (easier to manage scans than trying to use Apple Notes). Importantly for me, support is clear and privacy is transparent.
Also, I’d much rather be helping a small, agile, entity instead of a corporate behemoth such as Adobe.
