Doctors can use the recording for better díagnostic

Really helpful and doctors can use them to diagnose insomnia better. Everybody should have one of it. Healthy sleeping is key

Great idea but app doesn’t live up to it

I was tempted by the apps promise to record bodily sounds such as talking and snoring. I stayed for the bedtime stories and soothing white noise sounds and ability to remix them.
In reality:

*despite my lying sleeplessly for 2 hours, the app says I fell asleep after 8 minutes or 15 minutes - I don’t know where such information comes from.

*soothing sounds turn off after a while making me wake up and check the app repeatedly to turn it back on

*once the app crashes after 1 hr and the alarm didn’t ring, I was late to work that morning

*it rates the noise level throughout the night - it picks up it’s own sound (the white noise, story) as very loud - 100dB but fails to pick up any outside noise (like the noises in the apartment which actually wake me up).

*it never recorded any snoring or talking or even my flatmates slamming the door

In the end, it’s nice and cozy with the stories and promises but I wouldn’t trust it as a diagnostic tool. It isn’t able to correctly assess when we sleep or are awake at all. Crashing turns off the alarm which means trouble for the employed. I think the technology is not really there yet or our phones are not sensitive enough to measure such subtleties like sleep.

Doesn’t work when not sleeping alone

I have used this for two weeks and sleep score has been below 50 for all nights apart from the one night I slept alone in a hotel room which ended up with a score of 80. I sleep in the same bed with my wife and two dogs at home so I don’t think the app is able to just track my sleep alone. hence it thinks I am not sleeping well because there are 4 living things making sounds throughout the night.
