The Smart Cards - Student app is a must-have for students learning to read and spell through a synthetic phonics approach. Designed as a companion for the Smart Cards - Instructor app, this Student edition requires an instructor to share cards packs tailored to the student’s specific level. It cannot be used as a standalone app.
The Smart Cards - Student app is an efficient, engaging and cost-effective way for students to practise reading and spelling words that share common phonic patterns. Students can study card packs, ticking off cards as they are read. They also have the option to revise challenging words. For a spelling focus, parents can simply open a card pack to access an instant spelling word list.
The layout of the Smart Cards - Student app is user-friendly and ideal for home learning. It can also be used without WiFi.
