Challenges - daily and season
An internet connection is required for friend sharing and competitions, however maps and navigation do not require an internet connection.
Location Services is required for collecting statistics whilst the app is in the background and the foreground.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
The Snowzat app has been specifically designed to run all day in the background, collecting run statistics, with minimal drain on the battery.

App can’t track anymore
Loved snowzat for its function and group tracking. But starting this year, seems like it can’t track when phone is on standby. Whenever I login again, app start itself (looks like it shuts itself down when screen is off).
I am using iPhone X and “background app refresh” is already turned off

Hello - The SnowZat app must be running in the background to record all activity. The app also requires permission to run in the background. Location Services for SnowZat must be set to always. Please contact support@snowzat.com if you are still experiencing issues. We are keen to help.
