The Teac HR Remote Control App is an official Teac application for iPhone/iPod touch that lets you intuitively operate compatible TEAC network products.
A refreshed and streamlined user interface makes it easy to get more from your home entertainment experience.
Available as a free download, the app is compatible with all network-capable Teac network products as well as selected network-ready products released during or after 2012.

Functions Enabled by Teac HR Remote
(1) Audio streaming services operation. Stations are touchscreen-selectable, with no need to view a display.
(2) Control of streaming audio files from a DLNA-compatible server. An iPhone/iPod touch can be used to select music directly from the server.
(3) General remote-control button operations.
(4) Volume-control operation
(5) Stream music stored on iPhone/iPod touch wirelessly.
(6) FLAC, DSD, and Apple Lossless playback capability via Home Media function (depends on model)
(7) Compatibility with Spotify Connect (Availability depends on region)

Room for improvement

In order to use the NT-503 over the Home network, this app is the only thing that can control it. It works but there are lots of room for improvements
1) AIFF is supported when using the HR Audio Player on computer, but it just freeze everything when I try to open it through DLNA on this App. Need to reboot the NT-503 to gain access again
2) Album Art is supported in ALAC, hope it is also supported in DSD file format too in the next update.
3) though it supports iPhone 4 too, wish next version has a hi res display support for 6, iPad or later. Hope it is like the HR Streamer look but currently that one does not support NT-503...
