Hi, it’s amir.
I’m a professional fan and member of ted family. Thanks a lot for all excellent presentations.
But the app for the iPhone still have lots of bugs and time delays. It’s obvious newer updates will solve them. It would be great to update this as soon as possible.

App crash
After I downloaded TED IOS App, I start using Facebook as log in, go through the login window, then a black screen shown as the app was trying to load the content. Blank, and black screen as if there is nothing. So I tried another way to run the app, I choose “SKIP THIS FOR NOW”, same thing happened, a black screen, nothing was there. I am using iPad IOS 13.2. Hope your IT team could fix this ASAP. Thank you.
Disappointed with the new update
All my saved videos and favourites were gone after the new update. I like the playlist function in the previous version a lot, which helped me easily find talks that I am interested in. The new interface looks like Netflix...I wish the TED Talk app would display its own unique personality as it really distinguishes itself from all other entertainment apps as a knowledge hub for its users.

Thank you for your feedback about the new TED app.
We made a mistake in our development process, the result of which was that users who had never logged into an account on the app had their saved talks and favorites removed. Our support team will be glad to help you re-find anything you lost, if you would like to reach out to them at contact@ted.com.
We recognize how inconvenient this is, so we revised the new app to strongly encourage you to log in or create an account. That way, all user data will be synced to an account, so it won't be vulnerable to loss like this again. All that said, we're not giving up. We'll keep looking for a way to restore your lost data if at all possible. We hope you'll continue using the app to watch amazing TED speakers despite our error.
We've removed playlists from the app, for now, but your feedback is helpful -- we'll consider adding them back in. We have some enhancements to the playlist feature coming soon that we think you might enjoy more.
