VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.
It can play all your movies, shows and music in most formats directly without conversion.
It allows file synchronization with Dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, Box, iCloud Drive, iTunes, direct downloads and through Wi-Fi sharing as well as streaming from SMB, FTP, SFTP, NFS, UPnP/DLNA media servers and the web.
VLC offers support for advanced subtitles including full SSA compatibility, multi-track audio, playback speed control and rendering through Chromecast.

The only dissatisfaction is that it does not support seeing folder, because I am used to storing audio and video in folders, by language , singer, and genre, because sometimes I take the bus to church on Sundays. I know app can include the media library in device backup, but If just backup is not enough, I need to sync my media library to iCloud, because I both have iPhone and iPad, I want to easily share the media library between the two devices, Please add this function！

I love using VLC player to listen to the radio. But it doesn't show the renamed radio station on the lock screen, I hope this issue can be fixed. Besides, please bring back the minimize button! (smiling, hoping for improvements)

When I'm playing a video and have the scree locked, it stills allows 2x speed by pressing the screen and minimizing the player by swiping down from the movie title text.
開發者回應 This is the expected behavior but there is an option for you in Settings to disable this feature.
