Mauritius?

Bit misleading when the idea was conceived by Wahed Inc., an US entity, whereas the client agreement would be signed with its Mauritian affiliate (Wahed Securities Limited) and funds deposited in AfrAsia Bank, a Mauritian FI. At least choose a more reputable jurisdiction like HK or the UK, or go for a more traditional Islamic financial hub such as DIFC.

Clients are onboarded on to certain entities depending on their country of residence. We recently received a license by the Malaysian SC as well.
