Best navigation apps
Been using Waze for more than six years. And have seen it has further improved to bring in additional feature. This is the best apps so far I'm using which providing user friendly UI, accurate road and track information and quick response.
CarPlay compatibility
Pls refer to how google map is doing when CarPlay is enabled. Currently phone map navigation is disabled once CarPlay is enabled, only the screen on the car has the map. It’s painful to navigate the map via car control and it should always be better to do it on the phone (set destination location, change route, report incident, typing text etc). It’s like the many Waze useful function is all trimmed down when CarPlay is enabled. Google map didn’t do that, I think there is no “while driving no phone” issue at all, please kindly update the app as I always use Waze for daily navigation.
Usually good but some minor issues
I’ve been using Waze for several years and usually it is very good. The ability to share info on traffic conditions is the major selling point. I like how it shows you were all the traffic cams are.
The only problem I have with it is the GPS. The app has a hard time correcting the position, especially after exiting tunnels and if there are two roads on top of each other
