PLS Pedorthic Lab Specialties new PLScan is a powerful digital scanning tool designed specifically for lower extremity practitioners that leverages FaceID forward facing cameras on iPad Pro and select iPhone models. Developed by PLS, this companion app integrates into the PLS ordering platform, giving you an easy and seamless iOS 3d Scanning experience. The app leverages the forward facing FaceID camera, taking an ordinary iPad Pro or iPhone X or newer into a high-precision 3D scanner. Practitioners can capture accurate foot and lower extremity scans quickly and easily.

NOTE: PLScan app doesn’t do assessment or medical treatment. The Practitioner will be making any medical decisions and the app is merely a help to capture the geometry of the patient's feet. No patient identifiable data will be saved to the PLScan app.

New ability to be able to save your scans locally in the scanning app. You can save and then select them later on or reattach scans over several orders quickly from the dashboard page. Name your scans for easy recall later.

New login experience with access to the platform login page.

Offline scanning mode is now available, allowing users who have logged into the app once to continue to scan offline and save locally for up to five days before the next login session to the PLS platform.
