「蕨/FERN」是根據109年科技部科教國合司科普活動計畫: “運用AR/VR技術開發植物生態觀察APP與行動式智能博物館教具之科普計畫”所開發之APP，計畫主持人:王開立，主要是把蕨類科普知識轉化成遊戲化、生活化的互動機制。
本套APP共計分成「蕨葉觀察」、「蕨類科普」、「植物繪畫」、「蕨類植栽」四大單元，從植物觀察與科學繪圖等不同的視角切入，讓學習者可以只須藉助行動裝置輕鬆操作，便能夠深入淺出、逐漸進入蕨類植物的奇妙世界。
