Description
ELEN application enables:
• user registration
• usage of ELEN charging stations
• navigation to the nearest ELEN charging station
• charging station malfunction or problem report
• receipt of notifications and reminders regarding the use of a charging station
• in preparation: reservation of chargers, e-mobility service payment, roaming options with all European partners on the market
The application contains the regularly updated map with all ELEN charging station locations.
Status of all charging stations can be checked (availability, power, connectors, occupancy) as well as carry out the charging.
Standardized charging stations with standardized charging connectors, suitable for all EV on the market, are equally distributed throughout Croatia and cover all urban centers, intercity roads and main motorways.
ELEN charging network is the project run by HEP Group.

Problems with payment method
Tried to pre-authorise two different Visa debit cards (Croatian issuers) but none of them was accepted thus charging couldn’t start. It looks like app doesn’t accepts Visa cards or there’s unsolved bug somewhere within Elen software. There’s no other way to pay for charging but via app so when cards you have aren’t accepted you are in pretty big trouble.
Thanks to guy from Elen help-desk who adviced me to try using Revolut or pre-paid Mastercard available on petrol-station. I bought pre-paid Mastercard and charged the car. Attention! It doesn’t says on charging point: if you use the fastest chaging connector: first 60 mins are free of charge for using connector but after that time you’ll be charged for every minute of charging - check out Elen price list.

Stable and reliable app
I don’t understand flew of negative reviws. App itself does the job reliably. As for charger maintenance, they could be maintained better although things seem to be improving and are not nearly as terrible as some reviews suggest.
