Yescapa ruined our vacation

We rented the van for 7 days, unfortunately it broke down in the first 24 hours. As for the owner, he was reasonable and accommodating from the beginning and declared that he would return all the money to us because that is what it says in the contract we signed. However, part of the money from the total amount we paid goes to the agency Yescapa, and they are a completely different story. At first, we barely got along with road assistance, they paid for our accommodation, but we didn't get any additional information. So, we did not know what condition the van was in, whether it would be repaired by the time it was time for us to return home, etc. The day before our return, road assistance informed us by email that the van had not been repaired and that we had the right, as stated in the contract, to leave the van and return home. Of course, we checked that in the contract and it says so. We took the train back to the airport (we were 500 km away from the airport) and a little later the owner called us to say that the van had been repaired. We explained the situation to him, but he received information from Yescape that we were obliged to return the van. Certainly, the contract we signed states that in the event of a breakdown caused by the age of the van and the like, which occurred within the first 48 hours of the rental, we as users have the right to a full refund, which is exactly our case. When we said this to Yescapa, on several occasions via email, they just ignored it and said that they would only refund us 78 euros, out of the total amount, which is extremely rude and against the contract. We have never experienced such uncivilized and insolent behavior from any agency, and this is not the first time we have rented a vehicle. Certainly, we decided that we will solve the matter in court, because apart from the fact that they destroyed a week of annual leave, they also cheated us. We feel terribly humiliated and cheated, we would not recommend anyone to rent through Yescape. Just to be clear, owner was really a good guy, and the van interior vas really amazing, but Yescapa really ruined everything. The worst agency ever, I wouldn’t reccomend ot to my worst enemy.
