Redecor - Home Design Game 17+

This was one of the best games ever for me, and I adored to play it, but recent changes ruined all the fun and pleasure so that I am quitting the game. In the last month, voting system drastically changed to promote new players and to equal wins between players. Wins are now totally random, and poor designs win and good ones lose. On the other hand, when you win now, there is no more pleasure too as you know this was just pure luck and not based on how design was good. One more recent change that was a big dissapointment was withdrawal of bonus items, which was not even announced. Before, there were so called bonus items which you got in case you played a lot and won most of the items in collection. Now you would need to spend extra amount of star coins which are very hard to collect, so that you would need to spend actual money to get new items to be able to do nicer desings. Which don’t matter anymore at the end. In the last update, some challanges got limited to few items that you can use, which in most case don’t match. Creativity is lost this way. Lastly, it seems that players get different prizes to complete designs and in so called bonus levels. This is completely not fair and bring even more dissapointment. Redecor, I am so sorry that you made recent changes, you will lose many old players!

I have never enjoyed a game this long (almost a year now). Hooked on versatility, amazing decor, great copywriting. It truly relaxes me and is my happy place after a long day.

I enjoy the game, a lot! But the voting system seems random. I feel like people are randomly clicking on designs to vote just to earn in game money ☹️ try to come with another system, like giving maybe points to designs in one group, rather than picking between two designs?

Also, no one seems follow the briefs, and when designing, the most fun is to follow the brief. If you could make following the brief somehow mandatory, that would be great. Because now the “client” asks for a modern design, and then something that looks like barn wins, it just kills the fun.

It just feels like you guys are coming up with great materials, but rarely someone is using them, feels like a waste of time for your design and developing team. If no one will follow the challenge brief, what’s the point of creating them 😒
