Poor app performance and few bugs

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 15.6.1. App in sync with tv app. However, when you start playing last watched episode, it starts from begining, instead from where you left of. When you connect app to Chromecast and start playing episode from phone, if it’s before Chromecast fully connected, it’ll play on device, not on TV with Chromecast. Other services are showing loader in app, then start playing video when CC is connected. Video controls sometimes not auto dismissing after playing on Chromecast. Not having shows you’re watching at home screen (or hard to find) is just bad UX. Very very very bad UX. If you wanted to be different than Netflix, you should’ve changed something else, and hopefully for better. Overall content is close to OK, not my taste. This review is not about content tho, only the app.

Plenty of issues

The app has continuous issues connecting to chrome cast.
Unfortunately it also doesn’t always register your last watched episode of a series, so you’ve to scroll through and remember what episode you last watched! You can’t delete anything from your “continue watching” section, which is annoying if you didn’t like what you started.

No Croatian dubs and subtitles

Pretty shameful and discriminating decision by Disney to come here after 3 years of the original launch just to offer NOTHING. Very disrespectful. Croatia has been dubbing Disney movies & series for 20 years now, many movies, series, shorts and specials got their dub/sub in that period of time. None of them are available on the platform. Even the newest movies that were shown dubbed in cinemas are missing their dubs on the platform. Why? What’s the reasonable explanation behind that decision? Our citizens don’t deserve to watch your content in Croatian like the rest of the world and Europe? But smell of our money smells good, right? 😏 I won’t be subscribing until this problem is resolved.
