A nob-professional review of a passionate fan of the company

The Good: Polished animations, great variety of units and heroes, and an exciting set of misions with thought put behind them. The gameplay is very similar to the first installment of the series, but better in every way.

The Bad: Ironhide Studio seems to be forming a habbit of chopping their games up in pieces and selling it to us as “premium” content.

The game attempts to sells you not only most of the heroes, but also units in the form of microtransactions.

Personally, ever since the first Kingdom Rush, i felt it was somewhat justified to charge a minimum profit margin for additional heroes, but Ironhide seems to be going in the wrong direction, and i feel they will just keep making “unfinished games” that force you to pay for the “whole experience” which makes the experience itself sour.

In terms of gameplay, it is one of the best (if not the best) RTS game on mobile, but it is soured by dissapointing company policies that go back as far as Kingdom Rush: Vengance which forces players to pay additional funds just to unlock towers.
