Jabra Sport Life may use the phone’s GPS to track your workouts. Continued use of GPS can dramatically decrease your phone’s battery life.

Very good app
The app does what it should. Also there is no need for the jabra headphones for the app to work. It can track your results without them.
Much space for improvement
The first feature that Jabra Sport Life should have is the ability to read and write with Apple Health App. I know it is available for Strawa, but iOS users are using its own Health App and all apps on the market (at least 90%) communicate with Apple Health App.
The second thing that should be updated is the user interface. It is actually good, but there is so much room for improvements. I like the fact that all these results and measurements are pretty much straight forward, but it does not look nice. It looks old. It should be easier to switch through the options, there should be more descriptions of all options.
Third, in my opinion, the most important is the VO2Max. It is definitely a great feature but it does not work with all activities which unfortunately leads to false results and measurements. For example, I am running on a treadmill and the app says I have an average VO2Max - which is fine. I do my rest that app suggests and I do my training in the following day even better than the app suggests (i.e. app suggests to run 6 km in 45 min and I run 8 km in 45 min) - the result is decreasing VO2Max - which should actually increase, not decrease. There should be an option to either turn VO2Max off when preforming activity that doesn't support it or even better - make it work with more activities.
Fourth is water intake. Drinking water is important before and after exercising hard. There should be some kind of reminder to drink water or measurement of dehydration.
The last is data backup. There should be an in-app button to backup data. Recently I had to factory reset my phone after backing all my date to the PC and iCloud. After backing up, all my Jabra Sport Life data were lost.
I know my email is long and maybe boring, but I think some of these points were mentioned in the reviews online (Amazon, AppStore) and I think app developers should take them into account. I bought this expensive Jabra Elite Sport earbuds just because I wanted to track my success which is unfortunately not quite possible. I really do not care about the money, and I have generally positive feedback on the fit, sound quality, battery, water resistance, but the app is a huge downfall. I hope it will change soon.
