The tabular view makes it easy to summarize a restaurant check or calculate an entire expression from a school textbook. The challenge for this program was to move away from the skeuomorphism that mimics the old plastic calculators (which are not so easy to use) and combine the power of spreadsheets with the simplicity of a conventional calculator.
