All the access permissions requested are optional access permission, so even if you do not allow them, you can still use the app except for the related services. (Including OS Request Permissions such as "Siri & Search", "Notification", "Background App Refresh", and "Cellular Data")

- To find and connect to nearby Wi-Fi when registering the product.
- To set and save the home location in Manage Home
- To search for and use information about current locations, such as weather.
- To check your current location in the "Smart Routines" function.

- To take a profile picture
- To share a home or account scanned from a QR code.
- To take and attach photos in "1:1 Inquiry."
- To record and store purchase receipts when registering additional information about the product.


• Photo, Media, File
- To use the smartphone's storage when downloading the information of the product to be connected

Had TV connection problems lately

Had some issues with the app connecting to TV but it turned out to be caused by new AP settings. Everything is working perfectly again.

Application doesn’t work/won’t connect

When trying to login to my LG account from the app (the account is successfully created and verified) it says “check your internet connection and try again”. Browser login works fine but that’s useless.

Suffice to say my iphone has and had internet connectivity the last give or take 15 years! and this is crappy LG service not working.

Disappointed, never buying a LG product again and paying for features I can’t use

iOS 17 problem

App was working almost perfectly until i updated my phone to iOS 17, since then it doesn't want to connect to my TV.

Please delete and reinstall the ThinQ application. If this does not resolve the issue, please send a message via 1:1 Support with a copy of your review, your phone’s model number, OS version, and the ThinQ application version. ^LG
