Skip if you want a simulator

First to point out that devs deserve a praise, since the game is well optimized to run on Apple devices, even those that are several years old. It is a pleasant expirience not to play a game that cooks your Macbook, like other, rather old games converted from other platforms.
If you seek a simulator, this is not for you. It is rather arcade-like, interface is obviously simplified to fit into mobile platform format. Landing, take off, shooting, it is all rather simplified to make your job just to shoot and maneuver like crazy (althoug blackouts will limit your crazy turns).
Computer oponents are fine, but become rather predictable after few games. The campaings are not difficult, but the missions are rather simplified, and short. On a medium level difficulty, you can quickly go over all campaings.
Aiming and shooting is rather simple,an you can easily blast an enemy, although I think that predictable aiming is bit unrealistic for the period :) Some may like it, some may not. Although I enjoyed this game, I think that battle sim game are beetter for me.
I don’t know if paid upgrades will imrpove your gaming experience, for me, it was not worth paying extra buck or two.
