Review of whatsapp
It was my favorite messenger. But then, a couple of weeks my account got hacked, and I could not use the app for 10 days! During that period, your support did not deliver at all! Despite many emails I sent to you. I received only one reply saying that you cant do much. This is really not professional hence I dont want to use it anymore. My security and safety are in danger! I dobt trust you any more. Not to mention that I lost part of my data! And who knows where my data ended up!
Support for nothing...
Support offered no to little help regarding my problem and would avoid using this app is possible...
For context:
Got logged out of the app and two factor authentication pin did not work, didn't forget it, never set it up in the first place...
Apparently my tele-provider got hacked and a lot of user data got stolen...
So i contacted support about the issue and on two separate occasions their help was minimal and/or nonexistent, basically they told me to fix it myself and continue to tell me how to reset the pin that i never created using the app and email (the method did not work)...
Had to wait 7 days so i can enter my account without the pin (bad security) but then the app told my that if i enter into my account without pin i will lose all messages (sent and received) during that logged out period...
So no idea if i really was hacked and if somebody used my account for the last 7 days...
Support did not help at all and would actually stop using the app buy all my friends and family use it so I have no choice...
And good luck trying to convince 100+ people from my family to my friends to stop using what's app because of something so obscure like this...
No Notifications for messages
I've just made the last update of the app, and from the update on, I'm not getting the notifications for messages that I'm receiving. I can only see that I have received the messages when I Enter in the WhatsApp.
I've also checked settings in my iPhone and all sounds and notifs are On, as usual... Pls help, thank you !
