Build a zoo with this little cutie

Zack the zookeeper is in a pickle. He and his little red panda pal need your help to return their little zoo to its former glories.

And just like in this game’s incredibly popular predecessors Gardenscapes and Homescapes, you do that by completing tasks for people around a charming little cartoon world.

So, when a hipster photographer asks you to build a coffee shop or a little girl wants a playground for the pandas, it’s time to get matching.

That’s because the real meat of this game is in its colourful puzzle grids. You swipe to line up three (or ideally more) of the same item. The more levels you complete, the more coins you get to spend on jazzing up the zoo. 

The puzzles are nice and varied, and there’s a steady stream of new power-ups to try out as you progress. Plus that red panda isn’t just there to be unbearably cute (although it certainly helps): he’ll pop up in the top left of the screen to keep count of the items you’re matching to reach a target, and he also tosses power-ups into the field of play.

So yes, he’s cute, but he’s helpful and cute. Which only enhances the cuteness further, really.
