Fury Roads Survivor
Be MAD or be DEAD!
Half an hour on a motorway might be enough to make you believe our roads are already full of murderous maniacs. So you’ll understand the motivations in Fury Roads Survivor where the aim is to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where everybody wants to kill you.
To do that, you’ll need to master multiple vehicles, force other cars into traps and use the ruins around you to perform incredible acrobatics that leave other drivers in your dust.
The game has its own visual style: where top-down driving games tend to go for cartoonish or arcade-style graphics, Fury Roads Survivor offers a more abstract, pixelated style that resembles a kind of demonic Lego.
It works really well, as do the two-thumb touch controls: the steering takes a little getting used to, but when you’ve got the hang of it you’ll be moving like a ballet dancer – albeit a ballet dancer with a huge engine.
The game world is massive, the different vehicles handle in different ways and there is lots of cool gear to unlock. As you progress you’ll be able to access a range of useful, classic and rare gear including more powerful weapons, as well as better armour to defend your vehicle.
And if you die – before you get going again – remember, it really is the end of the world.
