Compact training plan tailored to your preggo-phase

As a 1st trimester mom-to-be I’m glad to find this app, as I was turned down to join most maternity classes until w13 in the gym.
To sum up pro’s based on 3 wks usage:
✅warming up and stretching is incl. in each session
✅360’ training plan incl. cardio, lower and upper body weight wo, yoga, stretching, etc
✅comfortable to do the exercises (with one exception - mountain climbing with jumps is a don’t according to my doctor, but replaced with step in-out, alternating sides)
✅interesting reads
✅no special sports tools are needed other than dumbbell, band, step desk (This last one I don’t have, but can get on w/o)
✅mini Kegel guide program

Things to develop:
❎ background music is missing - YouTube connect might help besides Spotify
❎ in a few sessions seated and standing positions are changing too quickly causing fatigue
❎I chrome-cast to TV, sometimes not working
❎some cases the presenter is not 100% following voice instructions with their posture

Overall I’m 100% satisfied as I can follow my pre-pregnant exercise plan incl. cardio, weights and yoga sessions doing baby-safe exercises in line with my actual pregnancy phase. Happy to recommend 👍

Too expensive and unprofessional

First, there is no anamnesis. The app does not ask anything about your fitness level, your past, injuries etc.
The exercises are mostly good, but not presented in advance. So if there is a beginner she will not know how to perform risk-free.
During the exercises with an equipment there is no time inbetween the tasks to get them, change the side, adjust the tools. There is even no help, how to use and adjust them, like a strap; how tight to make them, use them with the same adjustment for different tasks.
The exercises are not even really for pregnancy, there is no explanation for making an easier or harder version.
Not worth the price!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave this review! Our workouts are created by prenatal and postpartum exercise trainers, and all routines are designed specifically for pregnancy, and the routines do change over time to reflect stage of pregnancy. You can also choose your exercise level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) to make sure that you are getting the right amount of challenge for you. The questions we do ask on joining the Fitness Studio help us establish your fitness level, but this can always be modified by the user. We are not able to offer routines for specific conditions at this time, and our disclaimers do state that women must have full prenatal exercise clearance to do these routines for safety reasons. That said, we are working on continued updates to take more user history and conditions into account, and we'll look forward to implementing this at scale as long as we are certain we can coach people safely while they are managing specific conditions. We are also currently working on a series of "How To" movements to help with the fundamentals of strength training and conditioning, learning how to do proper compound movements safely, and how that changes throughout pregnancy, as currently we cover that in the Learn section of the Fitness Studio. So you know, we do have exercise previews that you can turn on to allow for that transition time, and also to demonstrate the move before getting into that, you can always turn those on in your Fitness Studio settings. Again, we appreciate this feedback which will help us to improve and thank you for trying the Baby2Body app.
