BeReal is adding two new features aimed at creating more ways for you to share moments with the people you care about the most:
- Roulette: An extra BeReal every day but this time using photos from your camera roll. Are you brave enough to spin the wheel and see what memory pops up? Take a chance on your past with Roulette but don’t forget to show us your reaction with the front facing camera!!
- Events: Find and join events on BeReal to see content you won’t get anywhere else including exclusive behind-the-scenes and on-stage BeReals from your favourite RealPeople/RealBrands. Share your own event moments - whether you are there or watching from a distance - and you may be included in our official wrap-up video.
- Lots of little updates to make sure your BeReal experience is always the best it can be.

Unmasking a filtered culture
Our BeReal - experience uniquely allows us, users not to feel the pressure to overcurate the moments of our lives we share. To feel ok with not looking all-glammed-up all the time. BeReal enables the re-learning of a more natural self-depiction on social media, contributing to the rise of users’ comfort levels with being ok with the way we look in a given split second time - loving ourselves unfiltered. :)
Bereal doesn’t take the second picture
Not every time, but lately there is an annoying thing with bereal. So, when i take a bereal, the first picture has taken, but the second doesn’t. the loading animation just keeps spinning, but nothing happens. when the notification comes, I have two minutes to post and I'm running out of time. as many times it doesn't take the second picture so i restart the app…. often it doesn't fix even after a restart, but only when I delete the application and download it again. I also restarted the phone.
Notification is a bit late
I love this app but I’ve noticed that whenever the notification arrives I usually only have one and a half minute left (or less) to take the picture instead of two even if I open it right away. Also, sometimes when I send a realmoji it doesn’t appear on the post and I have to resend it. Love the app though, keep up the good work!
