Good enough

Nothing too sophisticated, but good enough for what it is meant for. Recording format sent via email might cause compatibility issues on iOS

Payment obligation

Why is it not mandatory to inform users in advance that this is a service you have to pay for?

Unfortunately Apple doesn't have such a clear category in the AppStore and it mixes total free apps with free trial apps.
Still we try to inform the users in advance - we write it in the app's description, and after you install the app and before you commit to any payment you can see that the app offers 3 days free trial and then a weekly subscription plan.
