Paid subscription service disguised as a free app

This is the second time I have the “luck” to meet a software as a service app disguised as a free download. I don’t see it referenced anywhere on the product page that this is a subscription based paid app.

You can not do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING in the app without subscribing to a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription to get access. The prices are pervasively high for an app that is just a client side wrapper of another service with no recurring monthly fees.

You are also nefariously tricked into connecting your linear account to the app BEFORE it shows you that in order to do anything else you’ll have to also pay a subscription fee.

A trial period is not a redeeming feature, I see it I’m OUT. I’m not gonna bother with the app even for 3 days.

I’ve never felt the need to write an app review in 10+ years but this was too much.
