The Coyote is a Hot New Country format reaching out of the radio to grab your attention with a fresh, contemporary sound. Live and Local, KXWI focuses on programming pertinent to local adults 18+ years old. The country music format blends perfectly with the lifestyle of western North Dakota and eastern Montana. Along with music, KXWI also offers agricultural information via The Northern Broadcasting System, National News on the hour, WeatherEye weather forecasts, and local news reports produced daily by a regional news director, along with any programming pertinent to the core population of the area, including the MonDak Oil Review. KXWI operates alongside sister station KDSR-FM and is a member station in the Marks Group.
