I like the app for TV and for washer as well
I like the app. For TV it is more convenient as the LG TV plus as ther I need to select always the TV while here I can immediately control it.
For the washer I’m very happy that I can track and get notified when the washing is over.
Do NOT update the software until it works fine!
The app just offered me a software update on iOS and unfortunately I accepted it. The air conditioner was operating well as well as the app worked well via wi-fi till now, but right after updating the mobile app the wall mounted indoor unit lost network and it’s (or the app?) not able to join again. During pairing it’s saying “no internet connection”, however the wi-fi works apparently well as I am using it right now. I needed to remove its plug from the sucket and re-plug and restarted my mobile as well. Finally it managed to re-connect after the unplug, although I’m a bit afraid that it will lost lost network again.
UPDATE: 6 days (not even a whole week) passed by and this “brilliant” app and the air conditioner lost network again...it has been “checking product status” for 3 hours in the app while I was away and wanted to use it remotely via wifi😂 was “worth” updating it...it seems wifi function cannot be used anymore reliably😞
Developer suggested me to contact their customer service in case the issue comes up again. The sad thing is that I already did it, a robot even promised me that one of their colleagues will contact me on the next working day via the provided contact channel, however I have been still waiting for that call...ridiculous:) not such a reliable service

The washer timer updates extremely slowly
The washer timer updates extremely slowly… it takes 8-10 seconds until the time adjusts (remaining countdown and finish time) what is a shame because you’d typically look at how much time is left for a couple of seconds only… there should be at least and estimate time running in the background within the app.
Also, it is annoying that if you set a program and that part of the program (e.g. steam, rinse, etc) have been completed they are not differentiated from other items that have not even been used as part of a program but instead they are marked as “off” (they could be marked as completed or ticked off or used with the same color as the active ones but pastel). There is a LOT of room for improvement.
