Every time you move a content from one app to the other, compare data side by side or multitask in any other way, you need all the windows arranged accordingly. Magnet makes this process clean and simple.
In one drag to the edge, you size a window into half of your screen. And by dragging windows to the corners, you snap them into quarters. Slide them to the bottom edge of your display to create thirds. Do the same on your ultra-wide monitor and arrange windows into sixths. Taking advantage of such arrangements eliminates app switching and greatly enhances workspace efficiency.
Magnet supports keyboard shortcuts as well, for every command it has to offer. There is that little icon sitting in the Menu Bar where you can find a predefined set or create yours.

WIN windows performance on MAC
Turns your desktop to a cleaner and functional one: perfect for using multiple simple apps (like office apps, notes, messages) in one desktop.
Some apps still can’t be freely resizeable because it’s own (or the OS’) limitations, but in many cases it can be really helpful to look through the mess of open windows. Worth every penny: it can refund it’s price in a few workhours for you!
It really is a useful app and I’m beginning to use the magnet keyboard shortcuts more than copy-paste. :D
The one thing I would love to see though is a custom window size feature where I could define window sizes with their positions and I could assing custom shortcuts to them. That would be extremely useful.
I would definitely recommend the app BTW.
It's just great.
What? It costs money? Yes. But consider how many times are you gonna use it: 10 times? 20 times? 100 times a day? I'm probably in that last category, but even the first one is worth it as well.
