SmartHome supports home appliances including air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, fans, ovens, washers & dryers, dishwashers, and more.
Access Permissions:
The following access permissions are required for the SmartHome (formerly MSmartHome) app to provide necessary services. If you do not allow them, you can still use the app except for the related services.
- Bluetooth: Find and connect to nearby devices via Bluetooth or BLE.
- Location: Detect home WLAN network information to add device. Check your location to automate actions when location changes. Search for local weather information in "Scene" function.
- Camera: Scan QR codes to add device. Upload photo to report a repair or feedback.
- Album: Scan saved QR codes. Edit your profile photo. Upload a photo to report a repair or feedback.

Energy consumption
The app looks great, but does not show energy consumption in case of my Midea mission 2 air conditioners. Previously I used Midea Air app. Witch wa able to show energy consumption

Dear user, Open the SmartHome app.
Click on the "IECO Function" tab.
You will see the real-time energy consumption data.
If you still cannot find the power consumption data, please scroll up to find it on the second page. If you still can't see it you can click on the "..." (More) in the upper right corner to find more features and click on the refresh function.. Clean the filter
Question: A message appeared on the screen: please clean the filter. Will it go away after cleaning the filter? If not then how to prevent the message reappearing again? Your standard answer does not seem like a clever solution to the problem. You suggest that I should reboot the system every time I clean the filter? Unfortunately, your prediction didn’t work. I cleaned the filter and, to make cleaning complete, I also run the Active Clean program. The warning for cleaning the filter popped up again. Is it a bug in the program?
I don’t know what happened and why but after 3 days the warning disappeared. Could be the chip this slow in responding?

Dear user, this message is an alert to clean the filter so once you clean the filter the message will disappear automatically .
