Fridge Buddy is the app that helps you monitor the expiration dates of your food items to cut down on waste. Stop throwing away food and save money with our smart notifications.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

SCAN: Start by scanning the barcode and expiration date of your items in your refrigerator, freezer, or cupboards. Fridge Buddy retrieves product-related information, including the name, photo, and pre-filled expiration date.

RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS: A few days before expiration (customizable interval), you'll receive a notification reminding you to consume the product.

This update introduces a major new feature: Shopping Lists!

What's New

- Shopping Lists: You can now create and manage multiple shopping lists directly from the app. Easily add items to your lists and keep track of what you need.
- Add Tracked Products to Shopping List: When consuming a tracked product, you can now choose to automatically add it to your shopping list.
- Show and Hide Completed Items: Manage your shopping lists by showing or hiding completed items for a clearer view.
- Share Shopping Lists: Share your shopping lists with others directly from the app.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed a bug that removed the expiration date of a product when marking it as consumed or trashed.
- Fixed a bug that prevented finding the product details for some products. You should get way more pre-filled products after scanning the barcode.
- Allow to uncheck items from the shopping list
- Fixed a random crash when launching the app.
- Improve product scan discoverability
