Description

Celestial objects movements from different points of view

Take a different point of view to look at the orbits of solar system objects.

The orbit of Mars is not really an ellipse when seeing it from the Earth. Experience as Mars gets closer, slows down, and then takes a very long way to go back to not quite the same (relative) position. The Planetary app gives access to the orbit of more than five hundred solar system objects, from planets to small asteroids, but also including comets and planets' satellites - and lets you see the shape of the orbits relative to any other of the object.

The Planetary app calculates the position of the objects starting from the objects parameters and let you zoom in and out and move the point of view. All to let you get the best view at the shape of the orbits. Jump on board and watch the solar system in a new way!
