The "Hi-Fi over Wi-Fi" listening experience is just a touch away, thanks to this handy app. Choose a speaker, choose a song, and your favorite tunes are streaming all through the house.
The app offers built-in streaming options: stream from worldwide music services; use AM/FM and Internet radio, connect to DLNA servers, or play anything from your device's music library, including your iTunes playlists. The app automatically organizes and indexes the music for you.
The app also handles set-up for your speakers, and gives you full control of volume and speaker selection. Choose one, set up speaker groups, or stream to all of them at once. Manage speaker groups for Spotify Connect, too.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have a Play-Fi product from Polk Audio, Definitive Technology or Phorus, please search for and download the custom Play-Fi app for your audio brand.
Please also note that the Play-Fi app is companion software to audio products enabled with Play-Fi technology. It is not intended as a stand-alone audio player.

This app does not support gapless playback.
Sooo disappointing!
Lots of people listen progressive music, but this app does not proper for it :-(
8.51.1 does not works with 24 bit/192 khz in Tidal
Dear Support Team, When I get message about the possiblity of use flac 24 bit/192 khz in Tidal I modifed my subscription to HiFi plus. In the Tidal app I see the modification and I can play some songs with this quality BUT NOT in the PlayFi app. I still see just the flac 16 bit / 44khz . The amplifier is Audiolab 6000a play The streaming quality in the Play-Fi app ix MAX. So this is a fake news in 8.51.1 about 24 bit/192 khz? If you have got any information about how could I listening the 24 bit/192 khz quality songs please let me know ( i think not i am the only one person who curious about this issue) I would like to give 5 stars but this app is not very usefull, and we can not listening 24 bit/192 khz in Tidal. If you resolve this problem i will give you 5. 23.03.2024 Ok, so with new update 8.52.4 the Tidal also can not works 24 bit /192. BUT we have a huge problem now: During the update the amp increases volume automatically to -28 and hits a low end bass on the speakers. So if you download the new update please turn down the volume if you like your speaker!!! What happed with you, dear softwear developer ? 🥺😧 You would like to kill our system? I am thinking to change the app rating to one star . 😕
No tidal flac
Even after the update it doesn't know tidal flac format. (iOS 17.4.1, full wi-fi Connect , tidal max, Hi-res on).
