SmartCity is a totally free, OFFLINE public transport information application for Budapest. SmartCity offers a vector based map with address search, a public transport route planner and the full schedule of all the public transport lines of Budapest. The full functionality of SmartCity can be used offline.

A SmartCity egy ingyenes OFFLINE menetrend megjelenítő és útvonaltervező alkalmazás, amely Budapest tömegközlekedési hálózatán segít a tájékozódásban. Segítségével könnyen tervezhetővé válik a tömegközlekedés a városon keresztül. Akár cím alapján az offline keresővel, akár az offline térképre hosszan nyomva kijelölhető az úticél és az alkalmazás megmutatja, hogy a BKK vonalait használva, hogyan lehet eljutni oda a legegyszerűbben. A gyors tervezésnek köszönhetően több alternatív útvonal közül is választhatsz. Ha elmentesz egy kedvenc úticélt, akkor az alkalmazás mindig megtervezi neked az odautat így már az alkalmazás elindításával megtudhatod, hogy hogyan juthatsz haza vagy a munkahelyedre.

I’ve been using it for approx 4 years now. More precise than the official pdf based schedule. When the schedule says in the bus stop “7-8 mins” sometimes, this app always tells the exact minute, and it works always. No big storage or huge internet use, thank you for the frequent updates!

If you don't have hingarian keyboard, then download it. You can ony find locations by searching the EXACT name. Also it finds some way to your location. Usually not the fastest, nor the one with the least transfer, but some way. I recommend downloading other apps or asing people the rihht direction. They will mislead you fewer, I guarantee it
Not working anymore

The app was working perfectly untill couple of days ago. The only suggestion it gives now is to walk everywhere and says no public transport operates. Can it be fixed?Was the best public transport app and extremely usefull. Would be a shame to loose this app.
