Sometimes less is more

The older version of this app used to have a very user friendly interface and was very easy to use, but a few updates ago they introduced a new interface that completely changed the organization of the app, and certain features were taken away, which i don’t think is supposed to happen. Now it is a complete mess, I have to search for features for ever and can’t do tasks that I was able to. Fix it!

The newest user interface update for the iPad needs to be changed back asap. This new design is hard to look at, terrible to use, and just pointless in general. If it weren’t obvious enough, I’m talking about the way that the current played song is displayed on the right. Not just that though, but also the way when you full screen it, swiping down doesn’t close it, instead you have to press the button in the top right to do so, and THEN another button to make it small so that it’s not there on the side. I’ll never understand companies, if you have something that works perfectly fine, why change it? Do you guys seriously have notching better to do than screw up your own app? Also; it glitched out for me once, the display box on the bottom right started floating away alongside all the letters. I just sighed in disappointment. Genuinely no reason to change the UI. Just change it back.

Premium and still getting ads

It is sadly the go-to music streaming platform. We all know the shady business practices, how artists are treated, AI content, the ethics of the company in general. These aside though... getting random ads during podcasts is annoying (esp if it’s a meditation pod). Also can’t continue a podcast where I left off midway through, even if it shows on my landing page. I need to go the channel itself, and scroll all the way to the episode. Each time. And after you finish your episode, it often starts blasting a random item from an entirely different playlist, not even something similar to what you were listening to. Discovery has been hit and miss, fine, but the made for you playlists are useless. Enshi**ification reached this platform hard

Shuffle play is really annoying

The app is great, I use it every day since I don’t know back to 2018 or something like that. My only problem is this Smart Shuffle… If I want to change from no shuffle to shuffle I have to go through this smart shuffle option and its stuck… I can’t change further. I have to quit back to the list overview and turn it off there… Really really annoying. The concept is good and I see the point but personaly I dont use it. Would be great to have an option in the settings to turn it off entirely.
