Description

You can activate the mobile application services UniCredit mBanking and the mToken services without a branch visit, in case you have valid internetbank services UniCredit eBanking credentials. With devices enabling fingerprint scanning, you can easily log into the services, or sign your transactions with biometrics. You can make it easier to approve online card purchases with push notifications.

What services are available in UniCredit mBanking?

Core functions:

• Transfer money and transactions between own accounts, even with currency conversion
• Activation of debit cards
• Card+ Discount program
• Checking the status of account balances, loans and savings
• Categorization and analysis of spendings and incomes
• Apple Pay
• Register, modify, and delete secondary IDs
• Login and transaction-signing with fingerprint authentication, or with face-recognition (available for iPhoneX devices and above)
• Push Notifications about incoming transactions when money is transferred to your account
• ATM cash withdrawal even if you don't have activated bank card up to 150.000 HUF (mCash)
• Debit Card limit modification
• Credit card repayment
• Managing Standing Orders (new and existing)
• Creating, deleting, editing direct debit forms

mToken functions:

• Two-factor authentication for generating login and transaction authorizing codes for UniCredit eBanking login and transaction signing

Great experience

I am happy to use it, very reliable app with great services. However one thing to improve on. Why the account number displayed with IBAN and not divided into 8 section? Confusing and I cannot simply copy paste without modifying it. Nobody use it like this at lease not within the country. Why it cannot be like every else and add IBAN number as an extra info separately. As I see based on the feedbacks here I am not the only one who shares this opinion, not a smart design for sure.

Almost there

I just started using the mBanking app and I would like to share two things that was painful and can be easily improved. Hopefully.

Please please divide the account number Into 8 digit sections! Like everywhere in the app. This is such a basic thing to have. My brain is melting down trying to figure out the account numbers. I know it can be copied but still!
Also, why on earth does it have to be in IBAN format by default? I rarely need the IBAN number and it just makes the account number even longer. I mean, it’s nice to have it but not by default.
It’s great that you have templates. I would use them often. In the eBanking website these templates have “Nickname” and “Beneficiary name” which is really useful, BUT these Nicknames don’t appear at the eBanking app. Why?? This is awful… I have friends that have multiple bank accounts, and I can’t distinguish which one should I send the money to. Because the app only displays the Beneficiary name and it’s the same at all of these accounts.

I hope you can improve these small things, it would make my life much easier while using the app.

Terrible new design with forced categories.

I hate the website... and now you redesigned the mobile application after that. Bad Idea. If you want to push the categorization “feature” then you should at least give the option to customize and/or disable it. It is just something new to get used to and makes the app usage more difficult (without real benefit).
