I Think This App Is Real

I've seen reviews that said this app is fake, so as the title suggests, I think this app is real. Sort of.

I am not the developer, but I'd assume this app works by getting the device's maximum capacity and current battery levels to get the APPROXIMATE capacity (in mAh). Then the app waits for two percent to be filled and using this sorcery called math, get the APPROXIMATE charging speed.

I emphasized "approximate" as there is no way to get the actual speed directly from the charging port. Not that I know of anyway. There are also other variables to consider like battery optimization feature that triggers during the calculation and the power being used by your phone to, you know, stay alive.

As for the app itself. The UI needs a lot of work. Maybe to add precision, if it's possible, you should just use AMOLED black for the background so the screen's auto brightness won't mess up with the calculation midway through. The hints should be prompted before the user can run the test, so they know what to expect and what to do next.
